Rhain Stander began his career in front-shop retail, building a strong foundation in customer engagement and day-to-day pharmacy operations before transitioning into a technical role within the ComputAssist (CA) Group. With more than 22 years of experience in pharmacy retail, he brings a rare combination of operational insight and technical expertise to the industry.
After qualifying as a data scientist, Rhain moved into retail business intelligence, where he led the development of advanced reporting and analytics solutions now supporting over 1,400 pharmacies across Southern Africa. His work has enabled pharmacy owners and managers to make data-driven decisions that strengthen performance, efficiency, and patient care.
Today, as CEO of the CA Group, Rhain is focused on expanding these capabilities through innovative, integrated digital platforms designed to future-proof community pharmacy and empower pharmacies to thrive in an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
