Kesentseng Jackson Mahlaba is a Lecturer in the Department of Public Health Pharmacy and Management, School of Pharmacy at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University. Mr Mahlaba serves as a Scientific Advisor on Community Engagement for the South African Vaccination and Immunisation Center (SAVIC). With over 15 years of experience in institutional pharmacy and more than a decade in academia, he is currently pursuing a PhD focused on developing and validating a vaccine hesitancy scale for South Africa.
He is the Chairperson of the South African Association of Hospital and Institutional Pharmacists (Northern Gauteng Branch). His work centers on vaccine hesitancy, rational medicine use, and improving access to healthcare.
